Terms of Service
1. Contracting entity
These Terms govern access to and use of ComplySafe.io. The service is operated by BitFoundry OÜ, an Estonian private limited company (registry code 17352996).
By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Service description
ComplySafe.io provides automated compliance scanning for websites, repositories, commits, and pull requests. The service provides automated technical analysis only and does not constitute legal advice.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes.
- Scan only assets you own or are authorized to analyze
- Do not bypass plan limits or safeguards
- Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the service
- Do not use the service for unlawful or abusive activity
We may suspend or restrict access for violations of these Terms.
5. Billing and plans
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Plans described as unlimited remain subject to fair and reasonable usage consistent with normal development workflows.
6. Intellectual property
The service, software, branding, and detection logic remain the property of BitFoundry OÜ. You retain ownership of content submitted for scanning, and grant us a limited non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service.
Customer repositories, code, and reports are not used to train shared AI systems.
7. Availability and disclaimer
The service is provided on an as available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free results. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and obtaining professional advice where needed.
8. Liability and termination
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitFoundry OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, non-payment, abuse, or legal requirements.
9. Export controls and sanctions
You may not use the service in violation of export control or sanctions laws. The service may not be used by persons or entities subject to applicable EU, Estonian, UN, or other relevant sanctions regimes.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
